Does Flipcause have a card reader that can be used on mobile devices for payment at an event?

Yes, we do! To order your Flipcause card reader(s), please schedule a time to meet with your account services manager:

(Note: third-party card readers such as Square or PayPal's won't work with Flipcause.)

Finally, even if the Flipcause LIVE app is not yet available for your particular mobile device or operating system, you can still accept payments at an event on any mobile device. All you need to do is go to the URL (web address) of where you would like the transaction to begin on your mobile device browser, and since all of our tools are mobile-optimized, this can be done both on specific devices at the event, or by any supporter on their personal devices. You can also shorten the URL using to give your supporters an easy way to get to the payment page on a mobile device. However, if processing payments this way at an event, you'll need to let your Success Manager know in advance so that we can ensure your transactions will go through successfully.
