Registration Campaign: Golf Tournament

Golf event fundraising can be complex to set up. You might offer player registrations (as individuals or foursomes), sponsorship opportunities, donations, or volunteer options as part of your event. Ideally, you'd be able to have an easy portal for all of those engagements and registrations to happen online to save you much needed time and effort. With Flipcause, you can definitely set that up, and I'd be happy to help.

If you have a golf outing fundraiser coming up, but weren't sure how about the ideal way to set it up on Flipcause, take a look at our Golf Tournament template here. This includes to versions to give you the idea of the flexibility of the platform to design your registration area to your needs.

If you'd like a campaign page like this one, your Success Team can easily make a copy and tailor it to your needs. You can even use all the same images - we took care of the stock photos for you!

Take a look, test drive it using the coupon code TEST, and schedule a time to talk about your upcoming tournament so we can help!

A Golf Tournament is another classic event to engage your supporters in an energetic and enthusiastic fundraiser to help generate funds. Part of effective fundraising is qualifying supporters with opportunities to give at higher giving levels, and making the appropriately high ask. Both the Golf and Poker Tournaments are ways to qualify and gather that level of supporters and help drive more ambitious fundraising initiatives.

Golf Tournament Multi-Tool Campaign

The below Golf Tournament example is a multi-tool campaign, which is why you see multiple call-to-action buttons along the top. In addition to the option to register to the event, there's the option to sponsor the event, or just donate.

Here's what the page looks like after clicking Register. In this case, golfers can register as individuals or as a foursome. Using Advanced Registration settings, you can setup your campaign to require the name of each participant, as well as their tee shirt size, and ask them to sign a liability waiver at checkout.

By leaving the Shopping Cart active, you can make it easy for your supporters to add multiple engagements to a single transaction. After they add a registration to their cart, they'll be prompted to make a donation or sponsor the event.

All in all, we designed Flipcause to be as flexible as you need it for your big event. You can rename all of the call-to-action buttons to your liking and have a great deal of control over how the options to support are displayed, what information you'd like to collect, and even offering discounts. And of course, you can set the market value for each of the contribution amounts, so your automated tax receipt and confirmation will automatically calculate the correct tax deductible amount.

Golf Tournament: Register Sponsors as Attendees

If your sponsorship levels include foursome registrations as one of the benefits, you may want to make sure those foursomes are automatically reserved at the time of the sponsorship purchase. In that case, you can set up both the "register to play" and "sponsor" actions as part of your registration tool, each type of registration as a separate Registration Group: Foursome Registration, Individual Registration, and Sponsorship Registration in this case. This way, when you go to run a report of how many foursomes are registered, that amount will automatically include any foursomes that were purchased as part of a sponsorship package. For the registration options to be displayed like this, do not enable any other tools in the campaign. You can include a donation option via the Express Donations bar, which you can place anywhere on the page. Here's an example of what this kind of set up could look like:
