Is it possible to generate a report filtered by donation amount?

You can generate a report of specific donation amount through the Reports section of your Dashboard.

Here are instructions for generating that report:

  • Go to Reports > Transaction & Activity Reporting
  • Choose Report Type = Donations
  • Set the Date filter to your desired date range
  • Click Add Filter:
    • Filter: Amount Paid
    • Set your desired Parameters and Values
  • Click Generate Report
  • Scroll down and click Custom Report and select the fields you wish to include in your report
  • Scroll to the bottom of that page and sent to yourself via email as a spreadsheet. Once you have it in spreadsheet form, it is much easier to manage and filter.

Note: If you are looking for a shortcut without sending a report to yourself via email, you can set your filters, click Generate Report, and scroll to the bottom to see a list of transactions broken out. All you have to do is click the title of the field (‘Donation Amount’ in this case) and the transactions will sort from lowest to highest. Click ‘Donation Amount’ again to sort highest to lowest.

You can segment contacts by various filters. For instance, if you want to see who has yet to contribute financially, here's how to do it:

  • Navigate to Contacts > Contact Reporting
  • Set the Filter to “All Time Contribution $ Amount”
  • Select Parameter to “is not equal to”
  • Set the Value to "0"
  • Click Generate Report

  • Click Full Report to generate the report

You can also further filter the report after export by including fields in the export:

  • Click Custom Report

  • A Custom Export Report page will appear. Select any parameters you would like included in the report.

  • For example, if you want a report of “All Time Event Registrations” to see who has attended an event but not yet made a financial contribution, select "All Time Event Registrations".
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Get Report

Note: “Contribution” is distinct from “Transaction” or a “Donation”. A Contribution is any non-zero transaction. So, a volunteer transaction is not a contribution, but a donation transaction is. A free registration is not a contribution, but a paid registration is.
