While we do not offer direct assistance with SEO, I can point you to some resources.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of increasing the visibility of a website in a search engine's unpaid results. By using SEO on your website, your organization's website will appear high up in the list of search engine results.
There are a lot of great resources and SEO guides out there, and you can find tons of information about it by just doing a Google search of "search engine optimization".
Here are a few that you can look into:
- What Is SEO / Search Engine Optimization? - a good intro (with video!) to SEO is and how it works.
- The Beginner's Guide to SEO - a guide to get started with SEO.
- SEO Basics for Your Website, Blog or Online Store - SEO on Weebly.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Starter Guide - This is a slightly more advanced guide, but it's very useful because it comes from Google.
This is one way to get your organization's website higher up on search engine results. You can also look into paid search results, but that can be costly. Luckily, Google has a program for nonprofit organizations called Google Ad Grants, where they give nonprofits $10,000 a month in in-kind Google Ad Words to drive more traffic to your website and campaigns.
